Participants will perform a variety of hands-on experiments and computer simulations to learn about weather and climate forecasting. They will research a weather phenomenon of their choice and make a presentation on it. Participants will take home a tape of their television forecast. Careers in meteorology will be explored. Presenters will include faculty from NOAA Interdisciplinary Scientific Environmental Technology Cooperative Science Center, NOAA researchers, and meteorologists.

1. Stipend of $300 for the week, paid after completion
2. Lunch provided at Student Cafeteria
3. Scholarships and other awards given based on performance during camp and small project
Science training oftern not covered in high school (geosciences, weather, climate, etc.)

2. Upper-class standing (Junior or Senior in Fall 2013)
